WHEN February 18-20, 2021. Shows are 7:30pm (Wednesday and Thursday); 7:30pm and 10:00pm (Friday and Saturday); and time 4pm (Sunday).
WHO A variety of different improv groups from across the nation (and the world)!
WHERE Three venues, both in Seattle's University District:
Jet City Improv: 5510 University Way NE, Seattle (directions)
SFIT Second Stage: 3940 Brooklyn Ave NE, Seattle (directions)
University Height Auditorium (Saturday only): 5031 University Way NE, Seattle (directions)
CAN I BRING MY KIDS/FOLKS/CHURCH GROUP? Each improv group is different, and most of them use adult language and/or invoke adult themes. Each show has three-four improv groups performing, so odds are that at least one or all of the groups will be adult-oriented. However, we will not turn anyone away based on their age.
HOW LONG IS EACH SHOW? About 90-105 minutes. (Each show will consist of 3-4 acts, each performing for about 25 minutes.) There will be one 10-minute intermission at each show.
HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS? $22 General Admission; $18 students/seniors/military; $35 for the Theme Park Improv shows; and $75 for All Access Passes (and a t-shirt!) good for the whole weekend. (get tickets here)
WHEN SHOULD I BUY TICKETS? We strongly recommend you buy tickets online, in advance. There are no additional fees to do so. If you wait to get them at the door, the show may be sold out.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING? At the Jet City Improv theater, parking is available on the street, usually within three blocks of the theater. The Second Stage also has its own (pay) parking lot, for the 8:00pm shows (and parking is free in the lot after 9pm).
DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SEATING? Yes we do. Please let us know that you will need wheelchair seating in the comment field when you purchase your tickets.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO EAT AND DRINK? Candy, soda, beer, wine. At the Jet City Improv theater, we also have a full bar, and popcorn.
